Pursuing a Simple Life is Never Easy

Rather contradicting as it might seemed, but as long as human exists, my tedious quest for pursuing a simple life had once again been intervened by certain human factor.

Brought up in a country where the law is everything, adapting to the idea of law now playing against us isn't easy. We are sorta under the mercy of the management, many kind friends had advised us to seek help from solicitors. What they do not know is how things works in the company and how easy it is to cover up dirty acts. Contracts are no longer a legally binding exchange of agreement between parties that the law will enforce, its more like a tool the management uses to reserve as much benefits to themselves.

When confronted with facts based on clauses on agreement, HR bluntly push it to the fact that the employees had misinterpreted the definition despite its written in black and white and simple enough for any elementary schooler to understand. And since they deem that the contract isn't 'clear' enough, they just went on to 'solve' the complain by promptly saying that they are gotta amend the existing contract(s), bear in mind this scenario had happened more than just once. Oh and did I mentioned that they began pushing blames months ago after a certain confrontation when the initial contract was presented, a FEW pages of the contract were omitted during the meeting and therefore the employees weren't aware of them when they agreed on the terms? If they were omitted, how did they know that the employees would agree upon those terms? And isn't that considered against the law in some form? Yup buggers lying without a blink knowing that no one can touch them. And since when did the fight for your right which doesn't involve any indecent act earns you the title of a black sheep?

As many might know, I'm a lady of lesuire but I do share the tears and joy of my significant other. Such 'minor' incidents never fails to boil my blood and bring on a few swear words and I rarely curse.
