Just another random thought

Was woken twice from two weird dreams, one of which I was attacked by a beetle, flying straight towards my face. That's common for me, I'm from Venus, and naturally squeamish when bugs are involved. That's why Caterpea is still safely in his lil tub.

Its the second dream which had a deeper impact, its bewilded me to even think I'd do such a thing.
Slightly longwinded but here goes .....

It was our fourth year into our marriage when I found this email reply from one of his ex's sister. Nothing outta the ordinary, just a reply commenting on a cute pictures which alotta peeps like to forward around. In this case, she mentioned that it saddened her as the pictures reminded her of her dog which passed away not long ago.
In my dreams, I was disturbed to find that he'd share something with someone else. Can't remember most of the details, but the thought of getting a divorce crossed my mind.
When I woke up, I was shocked that the thought of it even dawned upon me. I've always viewed marriage so sacredly. Which leads on to the next discussions.

I've seen a fair share of divorces and failed marriages around me, friends who wedded and only to separate in less than a year, an aunt who spent her whole live taking care of her family to one day find out about the mistress and step-daughter, couples giving the excuses that they know each other too well, others whom gone astray.
After all these, I can't tell you how grateful I am towards my folks, being together till the present day, when we are constantly surrounded by people who lost faith in marriages. My folks are the pillar to my beliefs, their perseverance through the bad times, the scarifies they made for each other and knowing that the lil things does matter. They have taught me a great deal of values along the way, though I was too rebellious at that point of time to realise it. But as wine matures through time, so did I, and I'm thankful.

Communication, appreciation, trust, understanding, all sound so textbook, but they are the things I was taught, which I saw absent in many relationships turned sour.
To some it may be rather awkward to say that three words, but they can always simply give their other half a hug, a peck on the cheek, or just doing something nice for them.
If you are that bored and still reading this entry till now lol, do give your partner a hug tonight :)

PS: And Moo, you'd still be my slave till your last breath, Muahahahhaaa.

Broken

My right eye has been having some sorta infection since last night, tearing and all, not to mention that the vessels look like its gotta burst any moment.
Clumsy hands are not helping, I broke my only pair of glasses while adjusting my eye patch... sigh.
After trying everything, Moo and I came to the conclusion that its due to the fact of me over straining my near blind vision on the laptop. So, for now, I'll be visiting the fridge more often than usual as a form of motivation to relax my eyes.

Heros

Finished season 1 epi 12 of Heros, totally hooked to it just like Lost when it first aired. Hopefully its not gotta end up like the latter which 'lost' me in season 2. Just out for the interest of $$ instead of the audiences, it dragged on too much after season 2. Fingers crossed that Heros will not share its fate.

Craving

Had a bad craving for BBQ chicken back from home, went up to the pool and had dinner there. All I can say is Moo's BBQing skills are improving by the day lol.

My First Movie

Got a call from Sarah, inviting me up to the pool. From her cheeky tone, she's definitely up to something. Went up to find half the pool filled with floats and stuff, lol. Made my first movie, I know it's crap, its my first attempt anyway. Here are the pictures I've taken today.

Farewell Papa Smurf

Yes, he's leaving us for a greener pasture, away the nonsenses, back to the land of meadows and English speaking people.
Adam organised a farewell BBQ for him, kudos to Sarah for being such a darling, whipping up delicious salads and humous, and her other half, Jim, being the chef of the night.
Last words, take care Papa Smurf, from all your smurflings and smurfettes.
Here are the pictures from the BBQ.

Greetings from the Pharaohs

I was really looking forward to the "Treasure of Ancient Egypt" exhibition which is currently being held at the 'desert' museum. Paid USD15 each at the entrance and this lil bunny happily hopped into the hall. I took out my camera phone and snapped my first picture, when this bloke came up to me and "psst, sorry miss, no photos, please delete it off." I nodded, turned around and press a few buttons, lol yah rite, I'm REALLY gotta delete it. He bought it anyway *grin*.

My excitement was soon contained when I realised there were absolutely no description given to any of the exhibits shown, the only information the lazy buggers gave were the name of the items (some of which sounds so foreign to us), the material its made of (yah that doesn't help when we don't even know what its used for) , time frame and location its found. Utterly disappointed.

The only thing which impressed me was how much the ancients loved their pets, saw this pet casket which was beautifully crafted for one of the Pharaoh's kitty. And yes, I was wasn't suppose to have this photo, but I've gotta get something back from the money we paid.

Jello on the beach

Moo was being a dear today and cooked this lovely meal. Shortly we decided to take a stroll down the beach before the sunsets.

Its not long before we spotted this dead jello being washed up the beach. Poked it with a stick, yup, its dead alright.

A good 500 metres away from where we spotted the dead jello, chanced upon a fresh fella, just as when we were about to declare it dead, it started moving faintly. Moo managed to flick it back into the sea and fingers crossed that it will not be washed up again,....

Few months ago, it was dead giant turtle season, followed by dead fish season (we spotted puffer fish, king fish, crayfish and crab) and now is jellyfish, what's next?

(^.^) This is Moo attempting to save the bearly alive fella ------------>

Fajita Night

Sarah and Jim invited us over for Fajita, personally, I'm well impressed that Sarah has her own set of knives, how cool is that? Dinner was yummilious, Sarah did a splendid job with the homemade guacamole and salsa.

Pink to the Rescue

The notebook I'd been using for doodles and grocery list is being an eye sore,... the cover is just too plain. The aura today is pretty pink, and it turned out rather well. Might make a clover bookmark or if I could lay my hands on some equipment by the end of the week, might try screen printing
on it.

Vermicelli

After Moo Moo's lamb chops which he cooked with 'love' (as he puts it) the other day, I decided to repair him with my 'love' by making him Bee Hoon ( rice vermicelli). The stove was definitely designed for taller peeps, as a midget, I had to tip toe to stir the food,.... well its all worth it, he digs it, even though it doesn't look too appetizing.
I had to admit, I'm a bad cook, and not to mention, a messy one as well. This is the aftermath I had to deal with.

Bad Weather

We had our fair share of bad weather for the past few days, heavy rain, strong wind and lightning most of the evenings. Totally so not fair,... England is having loads of sun. And Moo's Bob doesn't have a windscreen wiper,.... previous owner find it's useless to have one since it hardly rain here, YAH RITE! With that handicap, we were trapped in the
apartment .... sigh.

Finished the bottle of champagne we bought from duty free and the Sara Lee in the freezer which has battled through all the 'temptation' all these weeks.

Attack of the Z Monster

For the past few days, Moo had been attacked by the Z Monster. The moment his brain went on idle for more than 3 mins, sometimes less, you can soon hear the SNORE. Yes, snore in caps coz when he snoozes in the living room, you can hear it in the bedroom.
He has this 'talent' whereby even though he's sleeping, he will pretend that he's not. The moment he hears my footsteps, he'll open his eyes and look as if he's wide awake, and ask you a random question to make it seems that he's aware of his surrounding. But the moment I turn my back on him, within seconds, the SNORE comes back. And during the phase of pretending to be awake, if you ask him any questions which requires thinking, he becomes very agitated and refused to give any opinion on the subject.
Sigh, ELLO I'm suppose to be the one PMSing not him!!!

For some reason, this lil voice is bugging me to give Her Evilness a call. I'm pretty stressed out at the moment, thinking of answers for the possible questions which she might shoot me with. Moo isn't really helping, when I asked him for his opinion to some of the possible questions, as mentioned above, he became rather frustrated and told me not to call her. Just like in Pinky and the Brain, he prefers to leave his thinking cap with me.

Balance THESE

Found this game while blog browsing, try moving your mouse to guide the blockheads towards the rescue ladder. Requirement to proceed to next level, rescue at least 100 blockheads. Sounds easy you said? Ya rite, at least so for the first two rounds. Give it a go and let me know how well you did.

Beat my score -------->

lol though not too difficult to achieve that ...

Poor Squidward

Poor Squidward, Moo Moo spent the an hour disecting him. The slimy lil fella decided to take revenge by squirting ink all over the sink. In a few hours, The cooked tentacles felt like udon,... In a few hours, Moo will be making Squidward sushi, more updates on that coming up.

Its GONE!!!

Much to my dismay, KBS has now been encrypted,.... *sigh*. I can no longer watch my soap operas. Despite doing numerous satellite scans,.... I can no longer located the channel. And to add to my misery, Eastenders is now on,.... *misty eyes*. Indeed cursed, the pleasure in this desert has been taken away.

Without my dramas to indulge in, I shall attempt to bore myself to death. Bought two books from my last trip, one is the dummy's guide to learn Korean, the other a National Geographic guide to photography. Its pretty obvious that I'd start with the latter, if not, the night will no longer ends in tears, but blood....

**NEWS FLASH** just found another channel mins ago,... Arirang, there might still be a glimpse of hope.
