Yumi Having Girl's Trouble

Centuries ago, mankind created linguistic to better communication. Mutes and deaf uses sign language and blind has braille. It seemed that our canine companion chose not to be left out. Instead of barking, she made herself heard by letting out squeaky whines and more than often grumbles (she only barks to deter intruders from our property).

Yumi's having a difficult time adjusting to adulthood, and since she's eight months old she's experiencing her first female trouble. Just like me, she PMSes real bad, earning her the title of Yumi the Grouch. Her fuse is pretty good on normal days, but for the past 48 hours she tolerates no nonsenses from her humans. If her cries were not attend to, she didn't hesitate in spanking us with her paws,... sinking in her claws and drag it down any body parts its in contact with,... even my face.

Last night while The Cow was busy with "Left 4 Dead", the canine 'told' him off as the telly was too loud and she can't rest in the living room. Cow being Cow, hardly noticed a glitch. Knowing that that human is useless, she proceeded on to the only person who can do something, ME. She went all the way upstairs to the study whining and put her paws on me for comfort before retreating to a corner for some eye shut. Well the only sound that was deafening her was my keyboard and clicking of the mouse, she can jolly well put up with that.

Comes bedtime, the humans were chatting, she grumbled in attempt to shut us up. It irritates her even more when we laughed it off instead and started calling her the grouch. In return, she gas bombed us the whole night, making the room smell like a fish market. Bitchy really.
On the phone with Cow this morning, he gave further verdict that Yumi's patience was really too short. She was unhappy that he took ages to tie his shoelaces and demanded to be brought out for a wee. More grumbles from her.

As I'm typing this entry,... her high pitch whine echoes down the hallway, she wants a dump. Despite telling her, 'Dear, 15 mins, just another 15 mins and I'd be done.' that only quieted her for a good ten seconds,... and she's back to whining again. Sigh.

In a month we'd be sending her to the vet, not just to stop the canine's PMS, but spaying does prevent health problems in the future. Well at least that's what research reflected. I'm no vet, but its best to just play safe.

納悶

今年的跨年好平凡,好無聊。
2008 就這樣過了嗎?
没有倒数,也没派对。
零八就這樣溜走了吗?

情趣都到哪去了?
我開始討厭 xbox 。

Agenda of the Day

Another stay in Saturday, waking up too late to head down town. Not wanting to waste the day off, we've decided to continue with our home improvement project. As Cow spend some alone time with his sex-box, I slaved along with the task of hoovering and mopping. The warm weather caused my arms to rash and naturally I became really grouchy.
After a quick shower its Cow's turn to take over while I put my legs up. He's installing netting at the bottom of our gate to stop Yumi's toys from fleeing outta the porch area and onto the road, as well as preventing rubbish swept in during windy days.

Cow then moved on to a bit of green fingers, potting the packs of seeds we bought weeks ago. Hopefully the dill, mint, parsley and other herbs would sprout soon.

Just as my shutters clicked on the last photo, I looked up to find the night sky lit up by colourful lights. Apparently there's a wedding banquet down the road and hence the fireworks. Guess I was at the right place at the right time. As I was busy snapping Cow let out a shriek, well my eyes hardly left the viewfinder to entertain him till the firework ended.
Turned around to see him hopping on one leg, the bangs from the firework startled our poor dog who fled and pee as she ran madly around the porch and living room (I was oblivious to all the commotion). Cow only realised when she ran passed him and 'sprinkled' some pee on his feet.
Sigh, more mopping for me. The canine escaped unpunished, instead she got treats not as a reward but more to calm her nerves.

Foe to Friends

Still remember when Pea first entered my world, before that I was the only child. I found her an eye sore, she's getting all the attention and affection. Anything that went wrong, I'd got all the blame and she escaped scot free.

Those times she drew on my homework and made me cry, broke my piggy bank and never got punished. Yes, she's a pain.

Look at us now, we've become friends again, we've indeed came a long way from being enemies from the start. Love her to bits, endless hours chatting crap. She's now my beauty product guinea pig, not to mention we share our collection of bags and shoes, well more like she uses my bags and I borrow her slippers.

She's back in Singapore from her six days visit here, it has been fun. Saw the present she left in the study, cute. Hope she visits again soon before she land herself in some job. I'm so gotta miss her.

GP & Mag

天晴

要不是因为感冒, 也没发现天气晴。
抬起头来疏解鼻塞,不然发现今天的天特别的蓝,
云看起来就像一团软绵绵的棉花。
这景色好美,好舒服。

Down with a nasty cold, the germs were a hand me down from Cow.
Being the medium, I've then passed it to Pea.

Now that Cow has recovered he can take care of moi, running around fetching aspirins and drinks.
Side note, Pea's leaving tomorrow, hope she can find the time to visit again. Yumi had a great time bullying her, and her company has been most appreciated. Sigh, more goodbyes.
