Deathnote L

Latest to my collection, second favourite character from Death Note is,.... L.

Out running errands today and curiously popped into an anime store. Saw the Deathnote DVD set giving away a replica death note and a quill pen. How can I resist? (Despite already having all the episodes on my HDD).
Apart from the DVD, another somehow impulse buy, L. He's just too cute not to bring home.

Now my lil Ryuk has a friend.

Deathnote Ryuk

Pretty late in catching the bug, Deathnote has been out for years and its only now that I've got hooked. The plot's full of twist, which kept me glued to the tv till it reached the last few episode.

No, I'm not talking about Deathnote the movie but the anime. You know how its like when the anime is made into a movie and it sucks? Yah, that's exactly why I've no intention to watch the movie itself. Although I've to say that the actor playing "L" looks exactly likewise to the actual character in the anime, alike almost to the point identical (well at least judging from the DVD cover).

Even though he's just playing a minor role in the story, but my all time favourite character has gotta be Ryuk the Death God. A gothic grim reaper who display redrawal symptoms when he doesn't feast enough on apples, went to earth coz he got bored of the underworld and enjoying the different plots "Light" planned to killed. I guess its the sattle evilness in him that I fell in love with but I find him totally adorable and surprise surprise we've added a Ryuk SD figurine to our collection.
Saw another figurine a few shops down the mall which made me drool, but the shear size and price tag made me walked away, even after 50% off it still costed RM300 .... nah I'll give it a miss.

Nope, I'm not done watching the whole series yet. The story got slight draggy after "L" died, and I've lost the motivation to finish watching it. Will leave the ending till some other day when I'm totally bored to hell.

Haruhi Suzumiya

Moo's anniversary present.... which had been left in the box for almost two months. Too many dedicate parts, can't be bothered to assemble it, plus we don't have a nice shelf to display it yet.
But it does deserve a picture and after that its straight back into the box sadly.

Since Sleepy's quest to hunt down the Lucky Star Models at the comics convo din't turn out too well, I've photoshopped two of mine just for him. LOL
All the best Sleepy, here's two Konatas to rub a lil salt on your wound. Kambateh neh Sleepy-sen don't be too dishearted, there's always convo next year.

Stealing All the Pleasure

As usual, Moo's stealing all the pleasure again.
The pleasure of putting all the pieces together, assembling the capsule toys.

Recently we were gaga over Lucky Star, an anime of randomness.
As Moo put it, I resembles Tagami, the bookworm and the logical big sister.
While he and Sleepy would be no other but Konata, the manga and anime addict who adores gaming till wee hours.

I Wished but Couldn't

Had lunch in Vivocity and the two of us went googoo over capsule toys again lol.

Three days left, and already I'm missing my lil son. Busy stocking up treats and toys enough to last him a couple of months.
There's always a sense of guilt lingering around when I'm away from him. Constantly worrying about his health and welfare. Especially when now that the vet suspect that he's got a small tumor on his back. I've explained my situation to her, and she reassured me that it would be alright to delay the operation till Nov when I'm back. Not that I wanted to delay it, but I don't trust my folks to take care of him after the operation. Personally, I do not wanna risk him having any sorta infection due to the procedure. She later informed me that the bill of the operation would sum up to around 400 bucks, worrying that that might raise concerns. But what she doesn't know is that my son is priceless, and no amount is too much to make sure he's well.
Sigh, I long for the day that I'd never have to leave him again. Would there even be such a day?
I thought I'd be used to it by now, but departure is always so bitter.

Moo's Auto Sleep Function

Was debating between dozing off on the couch and watching anime, gave in to Moo Moo's persuasion and started watching My Neighbours the Yamadas. Not a bad choice to have a quiet night in like this, except the fact that the host who suggested the plan actually fell asleep half way through,.... I should have known better, Moo Moo has a built in sleep function hidden in his brain, which is triggered after left on idle for more than 20 mins,.... sometimes less. Sleepyhead, if ya reading this, I'm sure you'd agree to that. Remember that time when we were watching Initial D? The Cow was happily Zzzzing on the sofa, when we were 'forced' to sit on the floor debating whether to skip the boring scenes LOL.

Btw, Moo Moo has finally fixed the problems with the car, Onur was really kind to let him use the garage and the lent him a helping hand. Spent about 3 hours there, din't manage to join the rest of the guys for go kart though. Might drag the cow out tomorrow to graze.
