Uneventful Week

The week that passed was simply stale, apart from ISP leaving me with a dead connection for more than 24 hours,... the customer care was friendly, but that doesn't take away the fact that I know more than them,....

Since I was left outta cyberworld for a whole day, picked up my needles and started sewing again. Made two new pouches, one for my fags and another for my keitai which I got months ago but never got the chance to write about. The latter (laugh hesterically), I've always wanted a 903,... *drool* (even when 903 was such an old phone, it has became such a classic that the price still remained high). Nevermind that, I've got a replacement now *still laughing*. I know I know, its from last season, 8MP is enough for me, the new 10MP would be too much to handle. Not sure why but I just love white clamshells with rotating screen...

More updates on my four-legged furby. We've put her on a barf diet (raw meat) but worried that her stool is way too hard, she's now on barf every alternate day. She's not taking the veggie and supplement mix (credit to Yen, our homeboarder) very well, but hunger speaks louder, so she has no choice but to chow them down.

Oh and recently she's brushing her teeth as well, *ahem* abit of an obsession actually. She takes her toothbrush wherever she goes. *The brush actually belongs to Bubble, but its way too big for his tiny jaws and he left it in a corner to collect dust*

Project Dog Bed

A queen size bed is simply too small to tolerate a cow, midget and a growing canine ... something has gotta be sorted out.

Found a pretty cheap solution, the project only costed us RM6.50.

Material:
- Free blanket from Emirates (grin)
- Two used pillows that were too flat for our likings
- Bought additional pillow from Tesco to extend the dog bed in case Yumi grow anymore... (RM 6.50)
- Zipper from the carrier that came with our existing pillows
- My tiny lil portable sewing machine

End results were better than I've thought, so far so good, Yumi spent the past two nights on her very own bed (after a few attempts of shooing her off ours). Satisfied canine, happy humans, can't ask for more.

Truly mine

Bought a cheap arpon from Daiso, one of those you see in animes. But to make it truly Japanese kawaiiness, something had to be done. And there, my personalised one of a kind arpon, with nothing but pure cuteness. And to celebrate that, chicken springrolls and Japanese coroquette.

Today, I Bid Farewell

Today, I bid farewell to my three fave softies, hours spent stitching them, giving them
names. Now, I've lost them to some evil rice weevil, even their name sounds evil. How did that happened? Well I'm to blame for that, filling my beanies with partially rice and partially cotton, just because I can't find any shops which sells silicon fillings.
The Weevils even tried to nip on Longneck the lil giraffe, and after chewing a small hole in him, found out there's nothing worth eating in there, 100% cotton.
Today, my three fave beans had moved on to a better place, on not, they ended up in the bin *sob*.
The grief was short lived, my snout detected something yummy in the kitchen, and Moo's grilled Cajun prawns managed to cheer me up a lil. Yup Cajun, hence the prawns taste more like chicken than seafood.

Moo's managed to make me laugh as well, lending him a hand in washing the vegetables, and found that his laziness was proven in the basin. He's cut the vegetables with leaves the size of half my face (I've got a huge face) and stalks half the length of my palm.
On the left is lil Longneck, putting up a brave face after losing all his pals, posing with the new bento box we bought from Daiso.

Moo's been a laughing stalk amongst his 'macho' colleagues for using my lunch box..... I'm not surprised, not when this is how my lunch box looked like ...

Pink to the Rescue

The notebook I'd been using for doodles and grocery list is being an eye sore,... the cover is just too plain. The aura today is pretty pink, and it turned out rather well. Might make a clover bookmark or if I could lay my hands on some equipment by the end of the week, might try screen printing
on it.

Domoooo

Spent £50 on an ext harddrive and after returning to the shop, its still not working, sigh, why can't things be any simpler.
Finally got round to doing something productive today after the whole V day episode. With the help of Moo Moo, managed to kill two bugger, they look too gross to have a picture taken. Picked up my needles after Moo Moo went to work, here's what I've made, Long Neck and Domo-kun.

Jim brought back Havest Moon DS which I bought over ebay. Will be spending the next few hours on it, lol even though that won't do my eyes any good. One of these days, I'm pretty sure I'd wake up blind.

Say Hi to Scottie

Found the pattern online quite a while ago, only now that I've got round to make my own lil Scottie. Rather please with the result. :)
