In the Midst of our Search

On Moo's third day off, we've decided to drive around looking for the local infamous 'Tree of Life'. Not knowing exactly where and how it looks like, we took the turn at the roundabout which led to lesser vegetation. Well it only make sense if there are too many 'trees' around the Tree of Life, it wouldn't be that famous after all ain't it?
While the driver was pretty clueless of the exact location, the passenger got
rather paranoid that they'd be stranded in the middle of nowhere if the fuel gets low. Moo reassured that if the tank goes below a quarter, we'd just head back regardless of whether we get to our destination. With no petrol stations nor shops in sight, I find it rather peculiar that there are signs for a financial company as well as a telecommunication company,..... and this is supposed to be a 'holiday camp site'. Yes, the same one which I've 'naively' mistaken as a refugee camp from an earlier post. It still makes me wonder why such a location was selected as a camping area, with chemical plants and oil pipes everywhere, the air is permeated with a weird scent which clearly isn't healthy for holidaymakers. The rent for the camps ain't cheap either, from what I've gathered from a team outing, each pax had to pay roughly in the region of USD 85. With that amount of money, I expected more scenic than this,...
And nope, we din't manage to find The Tree that day, but hopefully we'd have better luck next time.
