Animals by the Lakes

Yes, its the animal shots once again. While busy getting lost in the Lake District, chanced upon a Fell Hound Nursery. The owner of the property and gave me a chance to snap some shots, despite of the noise the exciting canine friends were creating.
The Fell Hounds were once used for Fox Hunting, until it was banned two years ago. Nowadays they are used for drag hunting, being more agile plus having better stamina than the Fox Hound, the Fell Hounds were a favourite in this area. So during off season, these lucky dogs get to go to doggy nursery.

Lake District

Went down to the Lake District for a week, driving around nearly freaked me out, narrow windy roads with sheep everywhere.
We stayed in Windermere on Bowness, a lovely lil town. Limefitt camping site is highly recommended, we spotted loads of bunnies hopping around, and in the morning, we were woken up by the sheep.
On the last day, the rain and wind were so severe that part of our tent collapsed lol.
Having spent four days there, we have seen all we needed to see, and we headed off to Yorkshiredale National Park before return to Cambridge.

Ring Ring G600

Been looking for white colour handset for a while,... besides an imported set from Japan, the search was pretty much in vain. I've finally ended my quest after lesson learnt, the sticker on my D600 for an unknown reason just turned black, am very sure that its neither scratches nor stain.... it still remains a mystery to me and Moo.

Instead of carrying on looking for a white descent handset, I've decided to go for substance over looks. I'm a loyal Samsung fan, Nokia is just too much of a 'seasonal fashion statement' and no I do not need another MP3, so Sony Ericsson is out too.
Introducing my new toy, Samsung G600. Comparing to my old D600, the camera is much more decent, a whopping 5MP with highest resolution of 2560x1920, but camera is slightly slow in activation as compare to the D series. I'm still trying to find out how to switch camera mode from landscape to portrait, the configuration seemed to display in a landscape manner only.
The dynamic home wallpaper, totally ditch that, it changes in correspondence with the clock, switching between day and night scenery.
Samsung has also thrown in a free 1Gb card, which deem necessary due to the resolution of the camera. A free bluetooth headset came with the standard package as well, matching the phone, not that it doesn't look nice, but it does look pretty cheap. Reception of the headset is good within a 5 metres range from the phone as tested.

Untick that

Dear Mr Mailman, what did you bring me today?

It has finally arrived!!!! The camera we've ordered three days ago has finally arrived, fresh from Hong Kong. Now I can finally untick one of the boxes in my wishlist.

I can't put her down, though she's fat and heavy,.... but I can't resist.
I'm just an amateur digital user who had never went into SLRs, things are getting rather complicated and I'm asking for it! Loads of reading and experiementation to be carried out. But I'm looking forward to it!

My camera history

Notice the size just gets bigger and Bigger...

Selfish Moments

No two souls are identical, not even the best soul mates. Due to the differences, there are things I'll selfishly save the last bite to myself. As a individual with odd and picky eating habits, I like to savour the yummy bit by bit, devour the horrible ones like beans. Call me a kid if you want, I don't like my greens, exceptions are peas, mushrooms (not really a veg) and potatoes. And a taboo on my plate, I hate mixing the different portions of veg on my plate apart from salad.

Moo on the other hand view food as food, those times when he treats food indulgently, he expects the best. So what's the point I'm trying to make here? Don't share an ice lolli or ice-cream bar with Moo!!!

Its the last chocolate coated vanilla ice-cream bar left in the freezer, being nice I agreed to share it with him, BIG MISTAKE! One third of the bar vanished from just one bite, and before I know it, I'm the one who's left with one third of it, my fault coz I like to lick my ice-cream instead of gobbling down like some hungry hyena. Left with a tiny chunk, he had the cheek to ask if he can finish it.....
No I din't give in, it was a torture for him watching me finish off the last of it, well it was a good few minutes anyway. That's the bottom line, don't share ice-cream bars with him!
